# How to Create a Sample Report Package for a Prospect

## Build a sample report package in the demo company and export it as a PDF for a prospect.

Want to show a prospect what a Reach report package looks like without sharing a client's numbers? Build it in the demo company and export it as a PDF.

### **What is the demo company?**

The demo company works like any other company file in your workspace, but it runs on built-in sample data. It's made for testing and showing what Reach can do.

### **How do I make a sample report package?**

1. **Open the demo company.** Open the menu in the upper right corner of your workspace and choose the demo company.
2. **Build the report.** Add a report template or build the report the same way you would for a client.
3. **Export it as a PDF.** Export the finished report as a PDF and send it to your prospect.

### **Can I refresh the demo data?**

Yes. You can reset the demo company's data from its company settings, so your sample report shows current dates.

### **Why use the demo company?**

- No real client data leaves your workspace.
- Your prospect sees a finished package, not a blank template.
- You can reuse the same report for every prospect.
