What You'll Need to Provide

To ensure a successful project, you'll need to prepare:

Data Setup (as applicable to your report):

Clear Vision:

  • Examples of desired reports or mock-ups
  • Excel sheets with any required calculations
  • Specific metrics and KPIs you want to track
  • Understanding of which data points should be automated vs. manual
  • Agreement on the minimum viable result before work begins

Pricing

  • $1,200 includes up to 6 hours of report writing work
  • $200 per additional hour beyond the initial 6 hours
  • All project time counts toward hours, including:
    • Email communication
    • File reviews and data validation
    • Calls and meetings
    • Clarification and revisions

We'll communicate clearly about time tracking to ensure you stay within scope.


The Report Writing Process

Step 1: Initial Consultation

We'll discuss your needs, review feasibility, and determine:

  • What can be automated in Reach Reporting
  • What will require manual updates
  • Any limitations or workarounds needed
  • Your visions and goals for the reporting you need

Step 2: Pre-Build Setup & Training

Before any report writing hours begin, we’ll walk you through:

  • Setting up your data (chart of accounts mapping, budgets, consolidations, etc.)
  • Connecting all necessary data sources
  • Our readiness checklist to ensure everything is in place
  • Any platform features you'll need to understand for report maintenance

Step 3: Intake Form & Scheduling

Once your data setup is complete, we'll provide you with an intake form where you can share:

  • Report specifications and requirements
  • Examples, mock-ups, or reference materials
  • Any additional context that will help us understand your vision

Step 4: Report Build

Our report writing specialist will take all the materials you've provided and get to work building your custom report. Throughout the process, we'll:

  • Collaborate closely with you to ensure we're on the right track
  • Check in regularly so you can confirm we're building to fit your needs and specifications
  • Track time against your purchased hours
  • Communicate proactively if additional hours are needed
  • Deliver a finished, maintainable report that meets your goals

Step 5: Review & Handoff

Post-Build Enhancements

After your initial report is delivered:

  • Additional refinements or new ideas are treated as new scope
  • Additional hours may be purchased as needed
  • New requests require new scheduling
