Styling/Formatting Shortcuts

Font Style Shortcuts

• Bold: Ctrl + B
• Italic: Ctrl + I
• Underline: Ctrl + U

Text Format Shortcuts

• Currency: Ctrl + Shift + $
• Percent: Ctrl + Shift + %
• Date: Ctrl + Shift + #
• Number: Ctrl + Shift + ~

Alignment

• Align Left : Ctrl + Shift + L
• Align Center: Ctrl + Shift + E
• Align Right: Ctrl + Shift + R

Selection Shortcuts

• Select All Cells Left: Ctrl + Shift + ←
• Select All Cells Up: Ctrl + Shift + ↑
• Select All Cells Right: Ctrl + Shift + →
• Select All Cells Down: Ctrl + Shift + ↓
• Select All Cells: Ctrl + A
• Select Entire Row: Shift + Space
• Select Entire Column: Ctrl + Space
• Select Cell Range Shift + [Arrow Keys]

Copy/Paste

• Copy: Ctrl + C
• Default Paste (values and format): Ctrl + v
• Paste Values: Ctrl + Shift + V
• Paste Format: Ctrl + Alt + V

Undo/Redo

• Undo: Ctrl + Z
• Redo: Ctrl + Y

Troubleshooting

Things to check if a shortcut is not working:

1. Check if the shortcut works in Google
   1. Most of our shortcuts are the same for the Google suite
   2. If it works in Google and not in Reach, contact the dev team
2. If the shortcut doesn’t work in Google or Reach, another software is probably already using that shortcut.
   1. Check your browser extensions to see if one of them is already using that shortcut.
   2. Check your operating system to hotkeys to see if a particular shortcut is already in use.
