Display Options: Date Drop-down Ability This is how you can have multiple date options that a client can use a drop-down to view or to use in reports for quick changing of dates.
The Date Drop-down ability allows you to use existing data columns and over-ride those dates.
Here is an example of what it can look like once it's set up.
Edit the metric or statement and then select "Display Options"
Under Date Changing Dropdown
Toggle this to on. Then Add various options. Make sure to add the title for each drop-down or else this will show up blank.
The number of Date columns will determine how many columns can be modified. The above example only has 2 date columns which you can see in the top image.
If you want to use live dates that update as each month goes on, make sure to have that box selected. Once you have a few date options, you can drag to re-arrange which one will be the top. From left to right will convert to Top to Bottom when you use the drop-down after saving.
Once you are done, make sure you save these changes here and then save the metric as well. Date drop-downs are available on dashboards within the client portal. Within reports, you can use these to quickly have some date variations. You can also add the metric as a template and use it within other companies. The settings you choose here will be available.Did this answer your question?
